Yup, I’m back 😀 Internet is recharged and ready to go, its the first of a whole new half of a year, its go time 🙂
So to catch you all up, things are going wrong In my absence from blog-land I have been to the doctor, referred to a specialist, and in the next couple of weeks I will be off to day hospital for a fun old upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. Yup, am not going fantastically. Best case scenario its some kind of inflammation or food intolerance, next best case scenario is coeliac disease or similar, cause these things I can deal with quite easily and I don’t feel worried about them at all given all my food knowledge and diet stuff. I’m cool with that. So fingers crossed for those things, I’m sure it will be one of them, so yeah, am chilled 🙂
My belly however is not so chilled, which is the reason for having these things done. So am back to juicing today, started off fantastically, felt really good. Then I had lunch which led onto snacks that have not been nice to my belly, but instead of wrecking the whole day I got a grip and finished it up well 🙂 I’m using Joe Cross Reboot as a guide, and will be sticking to that mostly, with a few meals here and there like this week when some of my family are coming. I’m cooking all vegetarian, not something I’ve ever done when people come before, a definite first 🙂 Should be good!!! I’ve already planned the dinners, I will juice the rest of the time, will be great 🙂
So food today:
Breakfast was a super yum juice :
Kale, cucumber, carrot and apple juice, I put it on the side of the measurements so you can see how much juice I’m drinking, I make almost the exact amount each time, no matter the ingredients, thats skill 😀
Lunch was leftover of last night, which was this:
Quorn satay spring roll mixture, which had wombok, carrot, onion, quorn, Malaysian satay sauce and vermicelli, I only had one rice paper left, so annoying!! So I ate one grilled spring roll and a few spoons of the mixture.
Which is when I went a bit stupid, had some pumpkin dip left in the fridge, so what did I eat it with? Chicken Crimpies. Seriously. Blew up like a huge balloon and got serious upper abdominal pain, yup, a bit stupid.
Went shopping to get supplies, I think I bought every green leafy vegetable in the shop 😀
So to get back on track I had a juice for dinner, and am about to have a herbal tea to finish my day 🙂
So yeah, I am back, I am having some minor hiccups health-wise, but all will be good 🙂 Its Happy New (half a) Year resolution time, and mine will be reaching my goal by the end of this year. Full stop.
